dominant people as they’re known for
being involved in action packed situations
In the rap genre men are represented as treating girls as trophies by
exploiting them and using them as sexual objects. This is to show that they’re
so successful that lots of girls want them.
Men in the rap genre are represented
as tough people through the
stereotypical view of them carrying weapons, smoking drugs etc. All of these
emphasise the toughness.
These types of representation are shown throughout the many magazine of the 21st century and are often linked to rap genre magazines, such as 'VIBE'.
